The number of Pradaxa lawsuits continues to grow across the country. According to recent reports, there are currently 176 cases pending in federal court with more expected to follow. Unfortunately, individuals continue to experience negative effects from the drug including uncontrollable bleeding. Unlike its competitor Coumadin, known generically as Warfarin, developers were unable to create an antidote for Pradaxa to reverse any uncontrollable bleeding.  This lack of a reversal agent is a serious shortcoming of Pradaxa, causing serious injury and suffering to those impacted.

The federal litigation continues to expand and the court has begun to set trial dates. The first federal Pradaxa trial is expected to begin in August 2014. At least three other trial dates have been set for late 2014 and 2015. The preparation of these trials will help facilitate settlement negotiations.  It is important to preserve your rights and act now. Do not be left out of the settlement discussions.
